FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The HIPPOCRATIC PARTY® Announces the No Bell (s and Whistles) Piece (of Work) Prize for Donald J. Trump
IOWA CITY, IOWA — The HIPPOCRATIC PARTY® has announced the presentation of its No Bell (s and Whistles) Piece (of Work) Prize to President Donald J. Trump, recognizing his distinctive approach to peacemaking and public leadership. The award invites reflection on a biblical question drawn from Galatians 5:22–23: Where is the fruit of the Spirit?
The prize’s name removes the ceremonial embellishments of political pageantry to focus on the substance of character. “Determination is not the same as patience, strength is not the same as meekness, and negotiating an agreement does not necessarily demonstrate the full character of a peacemaker,” the Party statement reads.
A Standard of Peace, Character, and Religious Integrity
The award highlights a growing concern within the HIPPOCRATIC PARTY®: religious hypocrisy among public figures who claim Christian identity while exhibiting conduct inconsistent with the fruit of the Spirit. The Party notes that professing faith carries a responsibility to demonstrate love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and self‑control — not merely to invoke religious language or symbolism.
“Jesus blessed the peacemakers, not those who simply announce that they have made peace or demand recognition for their accomplishments,” the release states. “The Prince of Peace is known by His fruit. A Piece of Work is known by the lack of it.”
A Presentation Above the Waters of Iowa
The HIPPOCRATIC PARTY® announced that the award ceremony will be held atop the Coralville Lake dam, overlooking the waters held back from the majestic Iowa River. The location was chosen for its symbolism: a structure built to restrain floods, standing as a reminder that true peace requires more than force — it requires character strong enough to hold back the rising waters of conflict, pride, and hypocrisy.
(Fittingly, Iowa is where the nation’s presidential political process begins every four years, making the dam a uniquely appropriate stage for examining the character of those who seek national leadership.)
The Hippocratic Party’s Mission
The HIPPOCRATIC PARTY® exists to expose religious hypocrisy and promote accountability in public life. Its values include truth over hypocrisy, humility over arrogance, and peace with integrity. The Party’s symbol — a hippopotamus inspired by Job 40’s Behemoth — reminds leaders that even great power is small beside the Creator’s majesty.
An Invitation to Iowa
The HIPPOCRATIC PARTY® welcomes President Trump to receive the award in person during his next visit to Iowa. The presentation will combine reflection, ceremony, and a conversation on the moral responsibilities of leadership.
“No bells. No whistles. No peace,” the statement concludes. “When the fruit is missing, perhaps the most fitting recognition is a Piece (of Work) Prize.”
